Before The Bat Wedding – Tom King and Tony S Daniel Will Tell A Joker Story

Batman writer Tom King has crafted fake Batman solicitations for DC Comics before, in order to hide the truth of what he is planning.

To hide the proposal and upcoming marriage of Batman and Catwoman, Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, he faked solicits for Batman #33-35, hiding that it was called The Rules Of Engagement, pretending that it was A Dream Of Me instead.

Well, the solicits for the upcoming arc by Tom King and Tony S Daniel states that it is called The Travelers. And indeed, its name may be staying, but what about the rest?

As seen in a number of DC Comics' titles today, it looks like the upcoming Travelers arc on Batman by Tom King and Tony S Daniel will, in fact, be a Joker arc.

An add is running for Batman #45 but there's no sign of Booster Gold or implied time travel. Instead the line 'The Joker runs Gotham. Where is Batman?'

That of course could be the result of such time-meddling. Or… it could be something else.

But it looks like we will be getting a proper Joker story before the wedding after all. Did he not get his wedding invite?

Maybe more than just the Booster Gold time travel story promised? Maybe something entirely different, before the Batwedding?
