Lying in the Gutters, 4th February 2018 – Don’t Jinx It…

Posted by February 4, 2018 Comment

This is what John Byrne said when he heard that Brian Michael Bendis was moving from Marvel to DC to take over the Superman books to begin with a mini-series called Man of Steel and make bigger changes to Superman since Crisis.

“I’d already announced I had dedicated this year to creating as many new things as I could,” Bendis points out, “so when publishers like DC came to me, they were very interested in what those new things were and what they could do to be in business with them. So my itch to create new things and DC’s itch for me to come over here kind of mirrored and matched, and here we are!”

John’s response?

Oh, and people have been reading other things, too.
