Hollowed: A Sci-Fi/Horror/Comedy/Detective Experience

Casey Bowker writes:

Hollowed starts off in Chicago as Detective Vasquez is investigating a series of grisly murders where the victims are professional young males who have their insides completely removed. The killer lives little clues other than the victims are always from the same economic standing and they will have smile on their face as they die. Vasquez's investigation takes him to Buffalo, NY where he is forced to team up with Tyler, who is working a similar case.

Vasquez and Tyler are complete opposites. Vasquez is straight and narrow, does everything by the book. A bit of a stick in the mud. Tyler is emotional, irrational, and always up for a fight before facts. They butt heads right from the beginning and neither one of them want to work together. Unfortunately for them, they are forced to become partners by tough-as-nails Chief.

On the other side of the law are Oren and Sylvia; two mysterious characters that work for a group of shadowy figures. Sylvia is the boss of Oren, and he is constantly trying to usurp her and show her in the wrong in front of their superiors. They are closely connected to the murders, it is not yet known just what their role is at this time.

The story takes the detectives closer to solving the murders, which end up being a bigger conspiracy than just homicides and find out that they are also connected to Sylvia in a way they never could've imagined. The comic will debut on Kickstarter, with the hope to continue on through crowdfunding. The first four issues are Arc 1 and there is room for four arcs to get through this first story.
