DC Ch-Ch-Changes to Upcoming Issues of Batgirl, Teen Titans, JLA, Motherlands and More

There are always a few changes 'twixt solicitation and publication for bigtime comic book publishers. Sometimes they get the details wrong, sometimes the situation changes, sometimes they change their collective corporate minds. Ch-Ch-Changes is there to try and keep you up to date with some of the bigger amends to creators, credits and story details.

Batgirl #20 was solicited with art by Chris Wildgoose but will be drawn by Sami Basra.

Motherlands #2 was solicited with art by Rachael Stott, but will instead be drawn by Stephen Byrne. The comic will also now have a variant cover by Kim Jung Gi, that was missed out in the order forms.

The jiggling with extended storylines has seen Teen Titans #17 now feature the details originally listed for #16. And #18 will have those for #17, until we are all caught up.

"THE FOLLOWING" Part One is written by Ben Percy with art by Otto Schimdt. In the aftermath of "Super Sons of Tomorrow" the Teen Titans are left without a place to call home. But a Titan's work is never finished, and when a series of strange murders crop up in San Francisco, it's up to the team to crack the case and prevent further bloodshed. Are the killings the work of a single serial killer…or is there a greater conspiracy at work?

While the Promethea insertion into Justice League of America has seen #25 now feature the story originally planned for #24,

"NEW LIFE AND DEATH" part one written by Steve Orlando with art by Miguel Mendonca and Dexter Vines. Batman has returned following the Queen of Fables saga, proud of how the team has grown. But there's one more mission he needs to complete. Along with Black Canary, he travels to the world of Angor, home of the Extremists, to help rebuild the world without the influence of the mad dictator Lord Havok. But when he learns what's happening, will Lord Havok punish Canary and Batman for their actions?

The hardcover collection originally dubbed Dark Nights: Metal: The Nightmare Batmen will now be known as Dark Nights: Metal: Dark Knights Rising. So still two colons but now two Darks.

And Suicide Squad #36, now has a cover by David Yardin…
