God of War Designer Laughs Off Fan Complaints About Graphics

Sometimes when fans put together game theories on social media, they catch the eye of those working on the game, presenting us with interesting results. The latest example of this trend comes to us from Raf Grassetti, the principal artist behind God of War, who took to Twitter to address fan theory that the game's graphics have been "downgraded" after looking at the way light and fog appear in the trailers they've seen. Below are the original post and a translated version.

What has changed is just the direction of light and fog, the content is the same as the E3 trailer, but different context, you will understand when you play. The Jormungandr, Kratos and Atreus continue exactly like the trailer are comparing with other scenes and lights. I'm laughing seeing the comments :)

As far as it actually looking like the graphics have been toyed with… well, that's up to you. No design is going to admit their game looks worse than it did before, but at the same time, what would push a company to downgrade the look of their game when you have a console like the PS4 and the PS4 Pro to work with? We kinda leave it up to you: What do you think?
