Ch-Ch-Changes: Batman, Teen Titans and Star Wars

A few changes 'twixt solicitation and publication are a common occurrence in contemporary comics., Here's a few that got caught past due date…

As Batman shifts its solicitations to make room for the truly freaky fill-in issue The Origin Of Bruce Wayne in Batman #38, so Batman #39 gets its intended solicit details for DC Comics for the continuing Superfriends storyline. As well as this cover featuring Wonder Woman by Olivier Coipel… currently still in black and white, that will go nicely with his Batman cover for #38.

Teen Titans is doing a similar dance. Issue #16 was solicited thus,

TEEN TITANS #16

"The Following" part one! In the aftermath of "Super Sons of Tomorrow" the Teen Titans are left without a place to call home. But a Titan's work is never finished, and when a series of strange murders crop up in San Francisco, it's up to the team to crack the case and prevent further bloodshed. Well, that's now being pushed forward, and replaced by the return of Marv Wolfman to the series, with art by Tom Derenick and Trevor Scott for a fill-in issue.

An unseen villain has taken over the citizens of San Francisco with one target in mind … Starfire! Can Kory and her teammates figure out a cure for the masses before they lose control of their minds and bodies forever? Find out in this story written by comics legend Marv Wolfman!

While over at IDW, the artist for Star Wars Adventures #8 is now to be Jamal Peppers, not Sean Galloway.
