After 20 Years, New Jersey's Wildpig Comics Closes This Weekend

New Jersey comic book store Wild Pig Comics has announced it is closing its doors. With an emphasis on gaming and comic book back issues, it was originally planned to stay open until the end of the month. That has now changed and and its final day will be this Sunday.

They state

We still have plenty of inventory at deep discounts.

Display cases, fixtures, and original art are also up for grabs.

All Magic and D&D events are canceled.

We're opening 4 PM Wed. through Friday, and at noon this Sat. and Sun.

The only clue to the reason is on the website, 

It's been a helluva run for nearly 20 years, but a variety of factors, both personal and professional, compel me to take this step.

And they say

Thanks to all those loyal friends and customers who have stood by us, past and present, across the years.
