Rachael Harris On Her Favorite Dr. Linda Scenes From Lucifer Season 2

When Lucifer debuted in January of 2016, it introduced the character of Dr. Linda Martin, played by Rachael Harris. She was a psychiatrist who treated a murder victim that Detective Decker (Lauren German) and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) needed to question. She wouldn't give up anything until Lucifer turned on his charm and then she started flirting with him.

By the end of the episode, Lucifer returned to see Linda in a professional manner and then paid for the therapy through sexual favors. This went on for a while until she finally put the fun aside and took his therapy seriously. She believed his talking about being the devil and the son of God were metaphors. She also became friends with Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt) and got pulled into their circle of friends. And things went a bit off the rails for a while when Lucifer showed Linda his true self — and she realized it wasn't a metaphor and Mazi was an actual demon.

She, somehow, was able to get past all of that and stay involved but it cost her as she was severely hurt in the season finale. This was also Harris' favorite scene of Lucifer Season 2, as she talks about in the video below. For what appeared to be a throwaway character when she was first introduced, Dr. Linda has had one serious character arc. I look forward to seeing what happens in Season 3 when she makes a new friends and Mazi gets jealous.

Lucifer Season 3 debuts October 2nd on Fox.
