Now Scott Lobdell Gets His Own Theme Park Attraction With 'Happy Death Day'

Scott Lobdell's slasher movie Happy Death Day will be released in the US on Friday, the 13th of October. But first, Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights at their Universal Studios theme park has announced a collaboration with Blumhouse Productions to bring films like The Purge and Sinister, as well as Happy Death Day, into their new The Horrors of Blumhouse attraction for an immersive Halloween event starting Friday, September 15th.

The Purge will see attendees attacked by masked, weapon-wielding thugs as they try to survive; Sinister will deliver an ancient pagan deity that attendees must escape from; and Happy Death Day will see attendees experience a live trailer for the movie, as they relive the last day of their lives over and over to escape a mysterious baby-faced cartoon masked killer.

Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights through Saturday, November 5th.
