Marvel's Hasbro Panel At San Diego Comic-Con In 85 Photos

Jeremy Konrad writes,

Saturday is always my favorite day at SDCC every year, because it means it is time for the Hasbro Marvel Panel! It is always nice to see where all my money is going to go for the next year or so, and this year will be no different!

We started off with a look at the Target Exclusive Thor and Valkyrie Two-pack from Thor: Ragnarok.  That is the only place to get the latter figure in 6 inch scale. Also shown was the Walmart exclusive Baby Groot in Ravenger figure I reviewed a couple months ago. They then showed off their upcoming additions to their line of role-play items: a Star Lord helmet with working Bluetooth and Mjolnir with sounds and an awesome sculpt.

Finally after that: new figures! A sweet looking Medusa that will be exclusive to Walgreens, and featuring 100% less heels, and a Hydra two-pack that will come with three different set of heads for army-building to Toys R Us. A comics version of The Defenders will also be coming, exclusive to Amazon, and featuring a repack of the after-market expensive Luke Cage and their first ever Jewel.

They are also taking a page from the Star Wars side of things with some vintage carded Legends celebrating the 1990 figure line. Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man (new sculpt), Punisher (with trigger fingers!), Wolverine, and Black Widow will make up the six-figure wave.

Black Panther was touched upon, and while they couldn't reveal the movie figures, it will be a six figure wave and they showed two of them: an updated Black Bolt and a new Namor. The wave will pay homage to the various kings of the Marvel universe. They also showed off their 12 inch movie version of Black Panther that had been revealed last week.

Legendary Riders are coming, with Ghost Rider and his Hellcycle joining Black Widow and her motorcycle joining him. They have suspension, and the flame effect on Ghost Riders bike are removable.

Deadpool gets a wave of Legends to celebrate the release of his film sequel next year, featuring the 90's versions of Deadpool, Cable, and Domino we showed you earlier this week. Also joining them are a classic Deathlok and X-23 in her X-Force gear. Sadly though: no foot claws. Two more 12-inch Deadpools are coming as well: Uncanny X-Force and Weapon X. We are also getting Deadpool Monopoly! Rounding out the mutant portion is a 12-inch Wolverine.

Spider-Man is up next with Gwenpool, Punk Rock Spidey, and Lasher the symbiote joining a new Mysterio in a wave of figures to build a classic version of Lizard that looks completely awesome! Lizard is my favorite Spidey villain, so I am super pumped for that one. The room was kinda Meh towards it, but they are wrong

Finally, we also saw Reed Richards, who will come with a set of extendable bendy arms and a pair of regular arms, along with the Ultimate Nulifier. No Thing was shown, but they did say he was coming to finish the Four.

Thinking the panel was over, they gave us a sneak peak at Thanos coming back, and what they are calling "the best build a figure" they have ever done: a new version of Apocalypse!!!! Now word on what figures will make up the wave yet, but it will be in fall 2018.

Check out slides from the show,, and booth photos of some of the things revealed here!
