Scamwatch: Fake Raffle For Action Lab San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Badges

A week away from San Diego Comic-Con, most people who want to go, can't. Whether by distance, funds or getting that damn badge. Which leaves some people in quite a desperate situation. And where there is despair, some people do silly things – or believe silly things.

Such as comic book publisher Action Lab Entertainment holding a raffle for Comic-Con badges. Which they really are not. And selling raffle tickets for something that doesn't exist.

The publisher tells us"recently someone has been posting ads on various sites that Action Lab is holding a raffle for Comic-Con badges. Apparently this person is able to give details about Action Lab and is charging for a chance to win these badges. Action Lab is not doing a raffle for Comic-Con badges. This is a scam and should be avoided. Comic-Con has been made aware of the situation."

So if you see such an offer and are tempted, remember… caveat emptor.
