'Monster Hunter: World' Shows Off New Ancient Forest Gameplay

So today Capcom released some "new" footage from Monster Hunter: World, specifically featuring the Ancient Forest. This is a massive area filled with various types of monsters for you to track down, engage in battle, drain their health down and eventually conquer. The footage is over 20 minutes long and features commentary with an unnamed narrator guiding you through the hunt for an Anjanath.

Here's the problem: There's nothing new here. This is roughly the same experience I myself had at E3 during their demo (which was just a dev playing the game with a commentator telling us what was happening) and the Japanese presentation footage from a couple weeks ago. The events happen in a different order than what I witnessed in the other two videos, but the gameplay itself is pretty much beat-for-beat a demo of finding the monster and killing it.

I completely understand the concept of Capcom showing everyone what you can do in the game, but for hardcore fans who are following all things Monster Hunter: World right now, there's little substance to showing the same material over and over. I also understand that the game is probably still being finished up and there may not be anything solid to show beyond this one demo level that's been created to show off what the game can do. If you've never seen this before, fantastic, you get to see it with fresh eyes. But for those of us following the game, we need something new to chew over.
