Amaya Will Return As A Series Regular On 'Legends Of Tomorrow'

legends of tomorrowThere was a bit of confusion about who would be returning for Legends of Tomorrow season three. In the logline for the third season of the DC team-up show on the CW Maisie Richardson-Sellers' Amaya was not mentioned at all. Then star Brandon Routh posted a picture of the team for the third season and Amaya was there. So there was some confusion as to whether or not she was going to have a role in the series and if she did then how big of a role. Someone asked that very question at Spoiler Room on Entertainment Weekly so now we have a confirmation.

Fear not, despite not being explicitly mentioned in the logline for season 3, Maisie Richardson-Sellers will be back as a series regular next season.

So Amaya will be back as a series regular in the third season of the show. Perhaps there were some contract problems and they weren't sure if she was going to return when they wrote the logline? For whatever reason Amaya was a welcome addition to the show and it's great that she's going to be back for the third season.

Legends of Tomorrow will return on October 3, 2017 on the CW.
