Rachel Bloom Goes Meta For Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Emmy Campaign

The idea that shows have to campaign for Emmy consideration seems strange. You'd think they show itself would be the best evidence and the folks voting would take the time to watch the shows in question. But apparently, that's not the case — which leads us to Rachel Bloom, star and creator of quirky rom-com series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

As the For Your Consideration campaign, the actor/singer/songwriter did just that…she wrote and performed a song about how she doesn't care about award shows.

I wonder if you could be awarded Emmy for your performance in an Emmy consideration video. Now THAT would be meta.
