This Darth Vader TIE Fighter Deluxe Funko Pop Is Too Adorable
Funko and Star Wars go together like peanut butter and jelly, and one of the things they have been doing extremely well is their new line of deluxe Star Wars Pops in vehicles and riding creatures and such. The newest one will be no different, as we are now getting a Target-exclusive Darth Vader in his TIE Fighter deluxe Pop.
I've already praised the Luke Skywalker in Landspeeder deluxe Pop from the 40th Anniversary Smugglers Bounty box, but they have done Han Solo on TaunTaun, Luke hanging upside down in the Wampa cave, the Rancor Pit from Jabba's Palace, and even Rey on her Jakku Landspeeder. All of these were also exclusives of some kind, either at retailers or for conventions.
Like the other ones in vehicles, this new figure itself does not come out — it's molded into the vehicle. And like all Star Wars Pops, it will be a bobblehead. The TIE itself is amazing-looking and perfectly detailed, as far as Pops are concerned, and it is all perched on a Death Star base. I am loving these things, and after talking to Funko at Celebration in April, there will be plenty more to come. Look for this in the not-too-distant future, as it should be hitting shelves in June.
