Korean based free webcomic publisher LINE Webtoon, with a business model that baffles most, have announced a new series called 1000 from Sanford Greene and Chuck Brown.

The last time the pair worked together was on Rotten Apple for Dark Horse but since then, Greene's star has risen rather after his run on Power Man And Iron Fist1000 will be their first digital comic venture together.

Set in a modern world of aliens, warlocks, zombies, and ancient beasts, 1000 will transport readers to a world like no other. The series follows Dragon Son – a supreme entity who's abandoned all creation – as he struggles to return to his true Dragon form by completing 1,000 acts of repentance. Son is joined by five other agents who are charged with secretly policing the world and keeping civilization from crumbling completely. Additionally, 1000 will feature an original hip-hop score with each chapter.

1000 will be published later this summer. Until then, readers can prepare with thousands of other comics for free on the official LINE Webtoon app by visiting the Apple App Store or Google Play.
