Riverdale Season 1 Is Over, But We Can Go Back! The DVD Set Is Due Out August 15

Yes, it’s true, the first season of Riverdale has ended. I’d previously written about the series as a whole recently, and frankly if you haven’t seen it yet I strongly urge you to check it out. You can watch it in its entirety on Netflix now, but if you don’t have an account or want a physical copy, Riverdale season 1 hits stores August 15th, with the box art being my favorite promotional poster from the show.

Warner Brothers will be releasing a DVD ($39.99), Blu-ray, and digital downloads of the first season. Extras will include the following:

  • Riverdale: 2016 Comic-Con Panel
  • Riverdale: The New Normal
  • Riverdale: The Ultimate Sin
  • I Got You – musical piece
  • These Are Moments I Remember – musical piece
  • Gag Reel
  • Deleted Scenes

The 3 DVD set will offer English, French and Spanish subtitles. Personally I’ll be buying the box set, but that’s really just my obsessive Archie fandom talking. Come sooner, August! I need to throw more money at Archie!

About Veronica Webb

Veronica Webb is a self professed comic book nerd, with a strong focus on Archie and Golden Age comics. She also enjoys Disney World more than the average person, and bad movies. Speed Racer is one of her favorite movies. Seriously.
