A Third Wonder Woman Social Media Fail By DC Films For Chinese Fans

Yesterday, we looked at DC Films posting Wonder Woman movie promotional messages on the popular Chinese social media service Weibo, which may not have quite hit the mark for DC fans — they included Spider-Man's catchphrase and suggesting Wonder Woman go to the beach to pick up a boyfriend. Rather disrespectful to the character.

Well, a third has also surfaced, with similar reactions.

With this translation offered to Bleeding Cool:

  1. Don't stay out too late.
  2. Don't starve yourself too much while dieting.
  3. Don't show off your ability or be so aggressive when your friends are in trouble.
  4. Don't disobey me.
  5. Okay.
  6. Don't choose your boyfriend so casually, like picking up an unconscious drunk lady in the bar.
  7. Don't show off too much of your skin while dressing.
  8. Don't leave your paradise home.
  9. Don't learn those boyish martial arts.

And, yes, again, the post was deleted after complaints.
