A Quick Trip To Nottingham's Page 45 – Still One Of The Best Comic Shops In The World
The first thing I think on entering Page 45 in Nottingham is what an influence it was on the current Gosh Comics in Soho. I was in town to see the in-laws and fancied popping into one of my favourite comic stores – but one I haven't been to in over a decade.
Of course I had to negotiate this little lot first.
Ah, apparently there's a comic con coming. Or, rather, a media con. Don't actually notice any comic book guests. Which is a world away from Page 45.
Because Page 45 is all about the comics. Take a look inside (and outside). I was allowed to take as many photos as I liked as long as I ignored the superhero comics at the back…
It wasn't hard to do.
Awards alongside The Wicked + The Divine. That does seem rather apt. I picked up a copy of Collecting Sticks by Joe Decie, but there was so much competing for my cash. Pop into Market Street if you are ever in the area…
