Bloodshot: The World's Best Dad (Spoilers)

Valiant has long-promised a major revelation for Bloodshot in today's BLOODSHOT REBORN #0, which according to the publisher, will pave the way for this fall's new ongoing Bloodshot series from Jeff Lemire, BLOODSHOT SALVATION.

But what could that revelation be? Well, as we learned in today's BLOODSHOT REBORN #0 from writer Jeff Lemire and artist Renato Guedes, Bloodshot – a.k.a Ray Garrison – and his girlfriend Magic are going to become parents.

While the couple feels afraid that their child may inherit Bloodshot's twisted genetics at first, they ultimately decide that they will raise it together.

Of course, this major development will lead us directly into September's BLOODSHOT SALVATION. While one half of the series will see Ray and Magic fight against Magic's violent family, the other half will jump eight years into the future, where their child–who does indeed possess Bloodshot's abilities–has to fend off a kill squad.

Talk about one happy family, eh?
