I Would Really Like To Have Aquaman Director James Wan's Job Right Now
With much of the U.S. facing colder temps and a fair amount of snow this week, Aquaman director James Wan has been busy elsewhere. "This ain't Skull Island." his instagram posts say, and in fact one might think it looks closer to Wonder Woman's Paradise Island. But no, these photos of warm, expansive coastlines, islands, and calm stretches of ocean as far as the eye can see appear to be prospective locations for Aquaman.
It was just a few months ago that rumor had it that Wan was feeling "trepidation" about the Aquaman gig, but whether that was true or not, I'd bet he's feeling a lot better about it at the moment. One presumes this'll be a trickier shoot than most for Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, and company given the likely amount of underwater scenes involved and the simulation of them, but a little time in places like this might make up for that just a little bit.
