Saga #41 Fails To Ignite Speculator Market

unnamed-10

The comic book speculator market does love a misprint, especially when comic stores are ordered to destroy it. The Marvel Douche issue of League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, the Pottymouth Batman issue of All-Star Batman, even the wrong UPC code issue of Phonogram all get increased demand and high prices.

But Saga #41, printed with a poor colour bed, shops ordered to destroy copies, and getting a replacement issue next week – has been a relative dud.

Oh, sure, someone managed to get $20 for a couple of their copies.

But most have been going for $6 to $7. With the likes of Love Is Love to concentrate on instead, the current market is mostly fuelled by people who don't want to wait till Wednesday rather than the comics misprint hunters.

Are things moving on?
