Merry Christmas! The Red-Band Alien: Covenant Trailer Is Here
Directly Ridley Scott has decided to give us all a bit of an early Christmas present with the dropping of the first trailer for Alien: Covenant. Over the last week we've been being teased with various images from the film and from on-set, most notably Katherine Waterston as Daniels and believed to be the character Ripley's mother (Sigourney Weaver's character from the original Alien films).
Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant find what they believe to be an uncharted paradise. What the crew discover is a dark, dangerous world, whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
The film has an incredibly haunting verion of Nat King Cole's Nature Boy as the music that cascades through the trailer and it gives goosebumps since it seems to relate back to David and what he might uncovered (or be hiding) on the planet.
