Daredevil – Not Exactly Blind Casting?

daredevilclip-129990I always get interesting tales from New York Comic Con, as I get face to face with certain people who wait all year to tell me stuff.

Such as a producer on Netflix's Daredevil series who was worried that casting a Latino actress in a minor role would be worrisome for their audience, as they already had a Latino cast member in Rosario Dawson and he feared the audience would get confused and think that they were related.

Cue lots of face palms. And the story got spread around other production folk just at the time they were talking to potential showrunners for Luke Cage…
