More Osamu Tezuka Comics To Be Published And Translated By The Digital Manga Guild

Captain_Ken-1The late Osamu Tezuka was a true manga master, considered the anime equivalent of Disney. With Astro Boy as his Mickey Mouse.

Digital Manga talked about their new Tezuka projects at Anime Expo this weekend, including the first Captain Ken from 1960, the republication and translation of which was just successfully crowdfunded, following on from other successful projects, well as announcing the publication of his comic Mr Cactus, which will also be digitally distributed  on their eManga.com system.

They were also keen to point out eManga now has titles in English, Spanish, Italian, and German. And are currently loooking to recruit translators, editors, and letterers, for Digital Manga Guild, to recreate the  popular scanlation communities, but legally, to gain manga publishing experience. Contributors will also be credited and paid for every edition sold.

Mr Cactus will be the first Tesuka volume created this way. Those who can fluently translate into Italian, German, French, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese can pop to digitalmangaguild.com to apply…
