Character Posters: The Hobbit, Divergent, Railway Man

Because every movie apparently needs seven individual character posters, even grueling historical dramas about WWII and prisoner of war camps.

Divergent, hoping to be the next Twilight or Hunger Games, also hopes to lure you with shadows and tattoos. Here are Jai Courtney, Mekhi Phifer and Zoe Kravitz showing off theirs:

The Railway Man, starring Colin Firth as a WWII veteran haunted by the horrors and tortures he experienced, doesn’t strike me as needing character posters, but here are some, featuring Nicole Kidman, Jeremy Irvine, Hiroyuki Sanada and Stellan Skarsgard.

And finally, The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, which will rack up dozens of posters and banners and promotional art when all is said and done, trumps everyone else with at least six French posters featuring various characters. Martin Freeman, Evangeline Lilly, Luke Evans, Richard Armitage, Orlando Bloom and Ian McKellen are all featured here.
