The end result is film version of Richelle Mead‘s first Vampire Academy novel, Blood Sisters. If this has a relationship to typical YA vampromance fare anything like the one that that Heathers had to 80s teen movies, a lot of young readers will be in for a sharp jolt of excitement next February. And even if it winds up being more comparable to Mean Girls this should be something a lot meatier and more interesting than a whole burning boatload of Twilight DVDs.
