Saturday Trending Topics: Will Neil Gaiman's American Gods Redefine What We Expect From TV?Sounds like we're at least a year and a half away from knowing for sure, but it's impossible not to be intrigued by the early reports about Neil Gaiman's American Gods tv series with HBO.  Six seasons, a significant budget, "more effects in there than it's been done on a television series", and HBO's rep for doing a job on these things.  Oh, and Neil Gaiman.  They'll get a few extra subscribers for this one, I think.
