Underworld Writer Brings Back Wetworks

Kevin Grevioux, writer of the Underworld movies, has teamed up with Christopher Long to write a new WetWorks one shot for Wildstorm.

Created by Whilce Portacio for the launch of Image Comics, Wetworks is a comic that follows the missions of a team of symbiotically-enhanced black operatives.

In the one shot Wetworks: Mutations scheduled for September with artist Julius Gopez, it looks like those symbiote enhancements have… grown a little.

Underworld Writer Brings Back Wetworks

The solicitation copy reads;

With their symbiotes no longer reliably functioning, the team finds themselves running up against Lord Defile, intent upon remaking the ruined Earth in his own vision, which includes experimenting on human prisoners to create a hybrid species!
