It's like magic, it's a mystery.
And right now a copy of Black Science #2 has sold for $26 on eBay, with others going for over $20.
It only came out the other week.
It seems to be a combination of a big launch for Black Science #1 by Rick Remender and Matteo Scalera, made returnable if retailers[...]

The same seller also has another copy that's already north of $160.
Some people have received their £100/$150 copies (though many still seem to be awaiting theirs) but few have been sold on eBay, hence the feeding frenzy when a copy does pop up.

Okay, I so I initially thought that this successful eBay sale is something of a fluke An advance sale of the 3D cover of Joker's Daughter #1, out in a week-and-a-bit, for $130.01.
But there are three ongoing sales of Joker's Daughter, one at $62 with a day and a half to go, that I'm thinking[...]

Just exactly how much can you flip them for?

Just not many.
It's also in advance of the[...]

Good luck to all bidders!
Which would be fine if it weren't lost in all the cut and pasted Wikipedia text.
Thankfully enough people did see it and junk eBay accounts have been used to increase bids to thirteen million dollars – of which the seller will receive none.
UPDATE: He's back…

On eBay, through CraigsList and directly at stores.
A number of comic retailers were hit by this gang, and one Bleeding Cool report managed to get photos of them, thanks to the WonderWorld's CCTV system.
Which seems to have done the trick.
I'm told that after Bleeding Cool published the photos, the scammers returned to each of the[...]

Bleeding Cool has been running a number of stories about fake sketches with fake certificates of authenticity turning up in eBay, before our publicity forces the sellers to take them down.
So it seems the forgers have moved offline.

A copy of Chew #1 with a CGC of 9.9 is currently selling on eBay with bids up to $1200.
Sadly it hasn't reached its reserve price But it shows you that demand for the comic is, at least, priced at $1200.
I really wish Rob Guillory and John Layman were sitting on unopened boxes of the[...]
And are prepared to pay for it.
All the cover price-eBay listings were instantly snapped up, leaving only the Open Bid listings, with the issue about to close already attracting bids of over $40.
