No Doctor Who Season 10 In 2016?

Private Eye, the British satirical magazine, really has become a font of knowledge for the inside goings-on at the Doctor Who production offices. You might remember this little nugget.

pe1Today, they have revealed that there will be no new Doctor Who series in 2016, though giving room for a series of “Specials” and it’s down to the continuing battles between the BBC and showrunner Steven Moffat, including increased pressure for him to step down from the show. Without actually firing him or anything that would be just gauche.

And they also give a little inside-BBC job-juggling, and one rather damning snippet.
