BBC Launch Their Own Doctor Who Convention – £100 For A Day

BBC Worldwide have announced their own Doctor Who Convention taking place in March 2012. With only Steven Moffat and Matt Smith confirmed as guests, odds are that whoever the companions are in series seven will be along too.

Will it justify £100 for a day? The schedule is repeated from the Saturday on the Sunday…

The event will be at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff where the show is recorded

Tickets go on sale on Monday. There’s only 1500 for each each day. Expect San Diego-like ticket booking issues…

UPDATE: Matt Smith is also doing the Starfury Doctor Who convention the previous weekend in BIrmingham (£90 for three days)… is he a mad man? With a box?
