Squirrel Girl Might Be Coming To The Small Screen With New Warriors TV Show
There has been a fair bit of noise around Squirrel Girl in the last few months, with talk about when the character might appear on the big screen intensifying. This was kicked into overdrive when Anna Kendrick expressed in interest in playing the character not long ago.
Well, it seems that her debut might well end up being on the small screen. TV Line are reporting that their sources say ABC and Marvel Studios are shopping around a New Warriors show, which would be a 30 minute comedy show focused on Doreen Green. The phrase, "the junior version of The Avengers" is used.
The character is only growing in popularity in the mainstream, and I think a live action rendition of her is almost inevitable. I hope they find a way to get her into a movie somewhere if this takes off.
