Getting The Costume And Look For Supergirl

One of the most important things about any television show, especially a superhero show, is the wardrobe. How the characters look is one of the first things people notice when they turn a show on before they even get into the story. For CBS' new series Supergirl, that comes down to costume designer Kiersten Ronning and head shopper Lynze Radzyminski and the rest of the costume department. Here the two women take us through a tour of the costume truck and the choices that were made for each character and how something as simple as what type of shirt you are wearing tells us where you are in ranking.

Supergirl airs Tuesdays at 8 PM on CBS
