Are Live-Action Star Wars Series Headed To Netflix?

Star-Wars-Episode-7-John-WilliamsAfter the success of Daredevil, rumor is that Disney is going to make a deal with Netflix to produce live-action Star Wars series. The information reported by Jordan Maison at Cinelinx say that there are potentially three series in the works.

This wouldn't be the first time Star Wars was exclusively on Netflix as the VoD provider was the host for the final season of The Clone Wars.

There's not much to back up this story as of yet, but it makes a lot of sense. Disney through Marvel is enjoying success with their Netflix deal and already seem to be expanding on it. There has been rumbling about a live-action Star Wars TV series for a while… and Netflix would allow the series to keep the cinematic feel that standard episodic television does not. So where this is far from official, it makes a lot of sense for Lucasfilms to follow Marvel into the Netflix library.
