Game Of Thrones Writer To Script Live Action The Sword And The Stone

sword-in-the-stone-1963Game of Thrones writer/producer Bryan Cogman is reported to be scripting a live-action remake of Disney's The Sword and the Stone. The original 1963 animated film, the last released while Walt Disney was alive, was based on the T.H. White novel of the same name and part of the Once And Future King book set.

Cogman appears to be in high demand among fantasy properties as he is also writing scripts for a Magic The Gathering Film and adapting the YA novel The False Prince.
