Chiwetel Ejoifor Cast Opposite Cumberbatch In Doctor Strange As Baron Mordo

chiwetel ejioforI first remember being aware of Chiwetel Ejoifor in the movie Dirty, Pretty Things where he blew me away. Since then, others have discovered the man, whether as the Operative in Serenity, or blowing away the world in Twelve Years A Slave. He is one of Britain's finest screen actors – and now he is opposite another two. Benedict Cumberbatch and Tilda Swinton in Doctor Strange.

Because, according to Deadline, Chiwetel has been cast as Baron Mordo.

The golden age of  cinema is upon us again and its name is Marvel.

Although he's an enemy in the comics, don't look for him to be necessarily a completely villainous character. Rather, he's an amalgamation of characters culled from Doctor Strange's mythology. His isn't the first change-up in the film; Swinton's The Ancient One character is another, as the movie has gender-swapped the Tibetan male sorcerer from the comics.
