Jimmy Kimmel Gets The Presidential Ratings Bump

Last week, President Barrack Obama paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! which turned out to be the fourth highest rated episode of the show in its history with 3.915 million viewers tuning in. But while the President was there, he participated in one of the shows regular segments that features celebrities reading mean tweets about themselves. The Mean Tweets segments get released on Youtube on the JKL channel and tend to do well. But the video of President Obama doing mean tweets did VERY well… over 10 million hits in the first 24 hours. That makes is the most viewed Mean Tweets clip ever.

So whether you are for or against him, President Obama is quite a ratings boost. Maybe they should have gotten him to guest on Constantine… go after the ghost in the Lincoln Bedroom.
