DC Entertainment has released the trailer for Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, the upcoming Blu-Ray / DVD release from Warner Bros Animation. Newsarama first showed the footage as this movie picks up where Justice League: War left off.

Jason O'Mara (Batman), Sean Astin (Shazam) and Christopher Gorham (The Flash) return from JL: War while Jerry O'Connell (Superman), Nathan Fillion (Green Lantern), Sean Patrick Thomas (Cyborg) and Rosario Dawson (Wonder Woman) fill out the rest of the league. Also joining in will be Star Wars: Clone Wars alums Matt Lanter (Aquaman) and Sam Witwer (Ocean Master).

"Justice League: Throne of Atlantis," released in 2015, is an animated superhero film and the 22nd installment in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies series. It also marks the fourth entry in the DC Animated Movie Universe. This film draws inspiration from the "Throne of Atlantis" storyline found in The New 52 comics, written by Geoff Johns, and acts as a direct sequel to the 2014 film "Justice League: War." The plot centers around Arthur Curry, a half-human, half-Atlantean prince who learns about his royal heritage. He joins forces with the Justice League to thwart a looming conflict between land and sea, instigated by his half-brother, Ocean Master. The movie became available for digital download on January 13, 2015, and later hit the shelves in Blu-ray and DVD formats on January 27, 2015.

In "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis," the USS California submarine is mysteriously attacked in the Atlantic, leading to an investigation by the Justice League, headquartered at S.T.A.R. Labs. Cyborg, after learning about the incident from Colonel Steve Trevor, teleports to the submarine and discovers missing nuclear missiles and evidence of an Atlantean attack.

Meanwhile, in Atlantis, Prince Orm and Black Manta debate with Queen Atlanna about waging war against humans. Orm blames the Justice League for his father's death, while Atlanna points to Darkseid. Orm, eager for war, is silenced by Atlanna, who orders Mera to find her other son, Arthur Curry. Black Manta, in a ploy to incite war, attacks Atlantis using a disguised craft and the stolen missiles.
