Ant-Man Movie Hires Two New Writers

AntMan

Latino-Review.com is reporting that Marvel's upcoming Ant-Man movie has hired on writers Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer. So does that mean script based on Edgar Wright's original idea and then revised by Adam McKay is in trouble? Not necessarily. It is common for studios to hire production writers to be around during the filming of the movie in case any changes need to be made. And that is what the report is saying is happening here.

Ferrari and Barrer don't have a lot of screen credits at this time with Barrer having written Haunt while Ferrari was producing and the two working together on a version of the Sabrina The Teenage Witch for Sony. The two got noticed with their 2010 Black List script Die In A Gunfight.

The movie is currently in pre-production and should be shooting in Atlanta in the next few months. Its scheduled to be released July 17, 2015.
