At a talk at Gosh Comics with Alan Moore and Mitch Jenkins the other night about their Unearthing projects, they talked about three more short films to join Act Of Faith and Jimmy’s End

Upon Reflection, which will tell you the scenes between the end of Act Of Faith and the beginning of Jimmy’s End. I also understand it will include the brief scene against the window of Jimmy’s End that begins that film.

A Professional Relationship is an extension of the scene with Matchbright washing his hands, with black filth going down the sink, and will be a ten minute conversation between Matchbright and Metterton.

And then This Heavy Heart with Darrell D’Silva and Khandie Khisses which Alan Moore asked:

remember the fuss with Kathryn Bigelow and Zero Dark Thirty? This is the lighter side of torture. A horrible torture scene but it’s kind of funny. It’s got blood boarding. Even the CIA didn’t think of that.

Jenkins also talked about moving onto a feature film.

He also talked about the obscenity of movie budgets:

Mentioning no names. Watchmen

…compared to what they were able to acheive for low five figures, and how CGI dulls the imagination.

He also dismissed the constant comparisons to David Lynch‘s work, wonders where the clowns are in Lynch’s films, and hopes that people have a better chance of working out what’s going on in his films. He cites film influences of Jean Cocteau and German expressionists more, and recounts walking outside while in full Mr Metterton gear during filming, without anyone on the street giving him a glance, and how a wake going on in the club while they were filming seemed to fit in with the burlesque and the clowns without too much fuss…

Here are the first two films.
