Pat Lee Designs New Anime Show, Train Hero

Pat Lee Designs New Anime Show, Train HeroTV Tokyo is creating a new CGI anime series with Carloon Animation and Total Production Office called Train Hero.

And the infamous Pat Lee is designing all the characters for the 26 episode show, a Thunderbirds-style rescue show handling a nationwide train network.

Yeah, I'm taking the bus from now on I think.

The 26-episode Train Hero deals with a rescue team that handles disasters on a network of high-speed trains crisscrossing the country, transforming to do so. A movie version is planned to debut as China's own high speed Beijing/Shanghai train is due to be available, in 2012.

The series will bow on April 26, beginning in Japan and rolling out to China and other territories. The theatrical pic is skedded for release in fall 2012, when a high-speed train will start operating between Beijing and Shanghai.

Maybe Pat Lee can use it to escape his creditors.
