There are many little bits and pieces from other films too – is that After Earth shot with Will Smith and the sword something new? I don’t recall seeing it at all. Or how about that one of Superman flying in orbit?
I believe M. Night Shyamalan has several more first rate pictures in him. I hope that After Earth will be one of them.
Seems like there’s scope for some head-on fun with ideas about evolution vs. invention here, and how mankind has survived through application of technology. And then there’s some Will Smith being shouty stuff too. Something for everyone?
