    Default Dubstep

So I gave in. At first it seemed just a pile of lo fi rubbish shit, but in the past 3 years or so, some incredible music has come from the likes of Floating Points, King Midas Sound, Addison Groove, Instra:mental, Joy Orbison and Various Production. And Actress's LP on Honest Jon is one of the best electronic LPs I heard in a long long time!

The Hyperdub label has been putting out some of the best electronic music I've heard in years

Does smash it just a bit. Hyperdub are becoming a bit like this decades Warp, consistently picking up the most interesting artists going.

Maybe a tad early to say. Though the Darkstar 12" was also worth mentioning. Warp still remains Warp IMHO. Honest Jon, Clone, or Mathematics could be contenders, indeed....

Oh no doubt, but Hyperdub have found so many people who've been getting such progressive sound that I reckon they're on their way up and up. Incidentally the new Mount Kimbie album is something very special.

Home listening material. It's really electronica though.
True that Hyperdub are finding new voices. Problem might be they all a tad youngish : they need to travell and listen to diferent kinds of shit to grow, methinks. Still great times for UK (and affiliates) electronic music

Love me some Dubstep. Mistabishi's "White Collar Grime" is a personal favourite.

Great time for electronic music in general I'd say, we're starting to get a lot more progressive base sounds in tracks.

Actually, I must say my favorite currently is all the Chicago stuff (Traxx, James T COtton, D'Marc Cantu, Jamal Moss, Jared Wilson), alonside, Tin Man, Snuff Crew and a few other more balearic stuff.
