99 Cents For Rucka Punisher And DnA Heroes For Hire On ComiXology
It's just hit Britain, America is less than five hours away, for Marvel's latest ComiXology Sale, the Greg Rucka-launched Punisher #1-9 and the Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning more-female-focused and widespread Heroes For Hire #1-12 coming through at 99 cents or 69 pence each, for Friday.
So I have heard almost nobody say that the DnA run of HFH was worth a damn. This leads me to believe that when Bendis' HFH book comes out we won't hear half the comic book community on the internet screaming for Bendis' blood for stealing what DnA set up then, right? Because good god has that gotten old already.
Oh I know. And I love their cosmic Marvel stuff. I loved all of that, from Giffen's beginnings of it right up until Marvel cancelled all the books and killed Nova. It was epic and well written and it holds a loving place in my heart, but sadly it is gone. I don't know if the new Bendis and Loeb versions will work or sell better, but I know that the DnA era of the books are gone.
