Earlier this year we ran a series of artist Kerrith Johnson's "Believe" posters, iconic images of superheroes.

He's also moved onto a series of images entitled "Accept" based around super villain imagery.

Well, here are a few more examples of his work he's been producing since then to enjoy on a day like this..

Belief and acceptance. Two central aspects of anyone's Thanksgiving.

CRINGE.

I hate it when people use letters from other alphabets that kinda-sorta look like Latin letters... but totally aren't. "Д" is analogous to "D" not an "A". "ц" is "TS" not "U". "И" is like "I" not "N". I look at these and they look like gibberish.

Oh, and... the subtext that Russian = villainous?

I like the general feel of these works. "Believe" makes me think of finding cause or becoming motivated. "Accept" makes me think of seeing the truth of the world, becoming realistic about the motivations of others and their flaws. Not all of them look great, but more than half are intriguing pieces.
