Does that even count as "breakdowns"? It looks to have been completely redrawn by Crain (note points like the legs switching places and the angle of the head), more like a thumbnail layout sketch than a direct basis for the final cover.

Yeah, and the original layout by Hairsine is much better. In the final version, his body is completely off-balance. He's supposed to be charging forward into battle, but it looks like the gun is too heavy and he's about to topple over onto his face.
