Cassandra Cain – No Longer The Daughter Of David Cain? (UPDATE: Or Not…)

detective_950We've had a little look ahead at Wednesday's Direct Currents Magazine, from DC Comics. And have learned all manner of things.

Take Cassandra Cain, previous Batgirl, daughter of Lady Shiva, now taking on her father David Cain's identity as Orphan.

And taken in by Batwoman and Batman for the batbootcamp.

Well, it seems we will learn that David Cain is not her father after all, in upcoming issues of Batwoman and Detective Comics.

And talking of father's that Batwoman's father Colonel Jacob Kane is involved with the League Of Shadows – making their way from the Christopher Nolan Batman films into DC Comics continuity…

UPDATE: Writer James Tynion seems to contradict what his own publisher is saying, telling us,
