In last week's Spider-Man #9 – the Venomless issue – we saw someone in an Iron Man suit making their way to Washington to confront whatever was going on at the Capitol steps with Spider-Man.

As we surmised Spider-Man was making a stand to show that the vision from Ulysses that all had seen was false.

And indeed, Spider-Man does not kill Captain America. Not in this issue at least. Spoilers.

But, courtesy of surprise guest artists Andrea Sorrentino and Marcelo Maiolo, who portray a more physical manifestation of Ulysses vision powers to take him physically to the future of Old Man Logan. We get an inkling.

And, yes, there one confrontation of note, between Iron Man and Captain Marvel. It's a big one, it's a heavy one and…

Well, we don't know what happens. But the cover to Civil War II #8, advertised in the issue, does give some indication.

Because the cover to today's Captain Marvel, is about as illustrative as the cover to Spider-Man #9. in that Iron Man doesn't actually appear in this comic.
