Retailer Exclusive Cover Announced For Justice League/Power Rangers #1

unnamed-12Bleeding Cool has reported that Marvel are upping their retailer exclusive cover numbers massively of late, with several in Octover and November, in what seems an attempt to turn the marketshare around.

DC Comics are more measured with the amount they offer, restricted it appears to one or two a month, if that.

Well in January, that will be for Justice League/Power Rangers #1. The usual deal sees retailers having to choose an approved artist, pay for the commissioning the cover, then ordering 3000 colour and 1500 black and white versions of the cover, to sell as they see fit. Stores seem to sell them from cover price of $3.99 up to $25, depending.

Retailers have until December 5th to get in touch with DC Comics and make their interest known….
